UTEC will assist with living accommodation information. You will share your apartment with other international students. The locations, layouts, and amenities vary, but the residences where most international students live are located in Barranco or Miraflores located near the campus. Each apartment is fully furnished and equipped.
With the concept of internationalization at the forefront of the social, political, and economical spectrums, experience abroad is an indispensable asset to many employers. Job applicants with international experience are generally favored over those without because it indicates intercultural communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new circumstances and environments.
Tuition is paid to your home university. This is an estimate of the cost for one semester (4 months):

Applications for study abroad programs are accepted on a rolling basis, so the earlier you apply, the better! It is recommended to begin planning one year in advance and to apply at the beginning of the semester before you plan to go abroad. Typically application deadlines are as follows:
Semester 1 (Begins in March): December 1st, 2016
Semester 2 (Begins in August): April 1st, 2016
Because programs accept students on a rolling basis, the earlier you apply, the earlier you will find out about your application status. Usually you will be notified of acceptance within two weeks after applying.
