UTEC - IEEE Student Chapter inaugurated

Officials, faculty, and students of our academic institution met last week in UTEC's industrial auditorium to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Student Chapter of the IEEE–UTEC, which seeks to encourage the development of scientific attitudes in engineering students and a culture of research that fosters the development of science and technology for the benefit of humanity.Representing IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) at the ceremony were María Chiok, President of the Peru Chapter; Juan Incháustegui, Vice President of UTEC's Board of Directors; Elmer Ramírez, Student Chapter advisor; among other UTEC representatives."IEEE has been inspiring thousands of students through its publications, conferences, professional and academic standards, and activities. For this reason, we believe that the association was needed.
