UTEC students present projects at Infosoft

UTEC participated in the Infosoft fair at PUCP, a three day student event that is celebrating its fourteenth edition and is organized by the Association of Information Technology Engineering Students of PUCP.  This group’s mission is to spread knowledge.  To this end, within this event, it organizes a series of workshops about web page design, programming tools and more.UTEC students participated in the Infosoft Project Fair, which assembled academic projects from renowned academic institutions.  Within the variety of topics, the one which attracted the most interest was a project by José Antonio Ávalos Villa a first year Electronic Engineering student who introduced one of the NAO robots as a teacher of mathematics, English and communication.Another hallmark example was the AR Application Project used to purchase products, by Bryan Cisneros, Kiara Vargas and Piero Varillas (among other students) from Industrial Engineering, which seeks to build a mobile app to enhance the sale of real estate using augmented reality and multi-media tools.María Noriega and Álvaro Dasso, third semester Industrial Engineering students, and others, also presented their own projects to engineers and general public. All were under the supervision of Professor Emir Vela.
