University of New Mexico (USA)
The agreement between UTEC and the University of New Mexico, UNM, establishes a Credit Program Shared with the UNM School of Engineering (SOE-UNM) that allows UTEC students to have up to 9 credit hours for a degree at UNM. Thus, students who follow the program under a scheme of 4 + 1 and comply with the requirements UTEC and UNM require, may, at the end their fifth year, obtain a Bachelor´s degree at UTEC and a Master´s degree at UNM.
Additionally, the agreement with UNM allows the following activities:
- Developing joint research projects.
- Organizing joint scientific and academic activities such as courses and conferences.
- Teacher exchange.
- Students exchange .
- Sharing academic publications and other materials of common interest.
