Guidance and Counseling Services

Through this service we seek to help you achieve the expected academic success, and guide you so you can develop the competences and skills that will contribute to your personal growth and a solid professional future.

Our tutoring program gives you the opportunity to reinforce your knowledge and abilities, and also get involved in activities that will help you know some other students. All the undergraduate students can participate in this program.

One of the methods of the program is the personal tutoring, in which you will have weekly meetings with your assigned tutor, and the schedules are established on the first week of classes. The second method is the group tutoring, which consists in the attendance to talks and workshops about working methods and techniques.

You can access and apply to the tutoring program through the virtual platform   ‘UTEC Online’.

Academic Advice and Support Center (CAPS in Spanish)

The CAPS advisers are high achieving students at their University courses. Through this program, they will guide you and help you to strengthen your learning.

The schedules for the advice meetings will be published at the beginning of each semester. They will include the names of the advisers, their schedules and the class where the advice meetings are to take place. To participate, you must register through UTEC Online.
