About Pre University Center

The UTEC Center for Pre-University Studies will help their students choose among engineering degrees and will prepare them to perform well in college. Classes will take place not only in classrooms but also in laboratories. Admission is direct and based purely on academic performance and vacancies available.

Admission Schemes categories

Extensive Prep program: for high school seniors or graduates.
Intensive Prep program: for high school graduates.

Method of payment

Deposit at Banco de Crédito BCP, account in Peruvian Nuevos Soles: 193-1976235-0-68

Procedure

• Fill out the personal data form.
• Submit bank deposit voucher for full payment of the program or the first installment or send the e-voucher to inscripciones@utec.edu.pe
• Photocopy of the Identification Document, passport or foreign resident card. 
• Two recent passport size photographs, on white background.
• Additionally, if the applicant has not been studying for over three years after graduating from high school, he or she must submit an original and valid judicial, criminal, and police record certificate.
• Family sworn declaration. Download.

Admission to Universidad de Ingeniería & Tecnología (UTEC) through this admission scheme is carried out according to the number of vacancies available, and in strict order of merit. The number of vacancies in each admission process will be informed by the University in due time.

Admission Terms

To enter through this scheme, it is imperative to meet the following requirements: 

• Minimum attendance of 85% throughout the academic term.
• Obtain a passing final grade, as a general average of all courses.
• Obtain one of the vacancies available for this admission scheme, in order of merit.
