UTEC celebrates “University Week”

For the second year strait, UTEC, held the "Semana Universitaria" (University Week), a one week event where faculty and students narrowed ties of fellowship and shared learning experiences and recreational games.The inauguration was led by "Chino" and Adolfo, hosts of a popular show on Studio 92 radio, and Tato Heinrich, Dakar Rally motorcyclist, sponsored by UTEC in the last international competition.As part of the event, a total of 402 students practiced sporting, recreational and cultural activities, as well as competitions, contests, and challenges where they tested their knowledge and skills. In addition, keynote lectures were given by representatives of Petroperu, Energía Solar Peru, and Ferreyros, who exposed on their best experience for undergraduate students."It is important to integrate and strengthen relationships with students. Let them know they can count on not only the closeness of the teachers, but also the researchers, so they can come to us when they need to and begin cultivating a passion for engineering.
