UTEC Competition, Architectural Models for a new city

UTEC and the Centro Cultural Británico (British Cultural Center) opened an exhibit of the architectural models that participated in an international contest for the construction of the UTEC’s new university campus.Yesterday, Universidad de Ingeniería & Tecnología (UTEC) and the Centro Cultural Británico inaugurated an exhibit of 60 architectural concepts at the John Harriman Gallery in Miraflores, concepts which participated in the international contest for the construction of the university’s new campus in Barranco.At this exhibition, overseen by curator Patricia Ciriani, a scale model was submitted for the first time by the firm Grafton Architects and its architects Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara, first place winners at the UTEC International Architecture Tender and whose design is regarded as the most modern University Campus in Latin America. Some sixty national and international proposals were also on display among the books and magazines which reveal the global architectural trends of today.
