UTEC connects with the best of science in Peru, with science

“Peru with Science”, the largest science, technology and innovation fair will be held in Peru between November 13 and 16 at Parque de Exposición. The event will include exhibits of projects and innovation in science and technology in Peru. UTEC will participate with two stands in which undergraduate students will be able to make a connection with the forefront of Peruvian science and will speak with the public about their own projects: "The application of multi-variable pollution monitoring techniques for the Huaycoloro River” authored by David Catpo Heredia, Walter Ambrosio Castillo and Yerenith Amaro Salinas, among other students.  Meanwhile, "Fugitive dust emission control along haulage roads in open pit mines” will be presented by students Jenny Yalico Vera, Daniel Niño Sánchez and Joseline Martel Ortiz, and others.These students will present their findings under the supervision of Professors: Carmen Elena Flores Barreda, María Quintana and Tulio Antesano.Those attending this fair will experience 4 days of exhibits and presentations within a 5,000 m2 setting specifically designed so that science lovers and the general public can interact with the finest and latest contributions to knowledge in our country.  Also, our university will be present in the Plaza Robot, an open area, where the public will be able to see the technological advances and projects to be presented.More information is available at www.peruconciencia.pe​
