During the week between Oct 23 and 25, Dr. Lei Zhang and Hans Cardenas represented Energy Engineering department at UTEC presenting an academic paper in title of Improvement on Energy Trade Capacity for Asynchronous Power System by Application of Hybrid Multi-infeed Direct Current Transmission System.
The presentation in the conference on 25th of Oct drew a lot of attentions about the energy trade through DC links from the Brazilian and other Latin American country audience. Many constructive and innovative ideas were exchanged during the conference. The successfully presentation of the paper has been encouraged our DC research group at UTEC to employ more effort on the relevant research further.
