The use of carbon fiber in the body of the Lexus LFA, allows the car to reach a top speed of 325 km/h and have an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. How is this achieved? With a proper design and use of carbon fiber: the Lexus LFA is more resistant, but also lighter. This makes the Lexus LFA a highly efficient supercar. That's ingenuity in action, applied to the use of new materials.
Do you want to offer such solutions? Design innovative machines and systems for various industries. Mechanical Engineering plays a leading role in the development, design, and manufacturing of new materials that transform the world.
Your most important raw materials are your creativity and profound scientific knowledge.

INSPIRATIONAL PEOPLE
Mechanic Engineering
Their father gave them a toy “helicopter”. They tried to rebuild it on a larger scale.
They became interested in creating a heavier-tha-air flyind machine. Their flight research began.
Orville was a cham pion cyclist, and in 1892 they opened a bicycle shop.
They created a vastly superior glider
Built to solve the aircraft’s power and control problems.
The device tested the effects of air moving past solid objects
They tested their gliders in an open area with constant strong winds
Engine power
Aircraft control of all three axes.
They created the “Flyer”, which depended on wing-warping
Foot pedals
Hand steering control
Thanks to their curiosity and after many accidents, they became expert pilots.
They tested their gliders in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
The Flyer reached its best record yet in its third attempt
ENGINE
Weight: 75kg
Horsepower 12 CV
The Flyer was the initial prototype of all models of aircraft known today.
