Francisco Tarazona Vásquez
Holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University (USA) and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI - Peru). Holds membership in the Peruvian Engineers Association, and Senior membership with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) serving as the AIChE-UTEC Student chapter advisor. He has ample experience in research and publishing in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals (Scopus/ISI). Ample experience in science and engineering teaching & learning at the university level. Winner of UTEC 2019 Outstanding teaching award. Honored as eponymous of the Chemical Engineering class of 2014-II at UNI. Currently, he serves as Chair of the Chemical Engineering Department at UTEC. Research interests: molecular simulation, process engineering simulation & analysis.
