The curriculum requirements proposed for Civil Engineering translate in the development of biotechnological projects from the first to the last academic year. Bioengineering students will work in modern laboratories and will participate in workshops that will stimulate their creativity, which is essential to find new ways and solutions to the problems both biology and medicine have to deal with on a daily basis. Through the cross-curricular courses offered within the Bioengineering program, we aim at training professionals with a solid foundation in the areas of biophysics and biochemistry, with which they will be able to perform efficiently while developing biomaterials, one of the most studied and required subjects today.
