Jimmy Tarrillo Olano
PhD in Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS-Brasil), M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS-Brazil), and another degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru. He has conducted research at the Universidad de Mons (UMONS-Belgium), and has experience in the Aerospace Industry (Antwerp Space – Belgium). His areas of particular interest include fault tolerance in FPGAs (Fault Tolerance Gate Arrays), embedded systems and the effects of radiation on digital circuits.
