Patricia Araujo Pantoja
Holds an M.S., a PhD and two doctorate degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Sao Paulo (USP, Brazil). She obtained a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) in Peru. She has experience in the process of modeling and characterization of crude oil and its by-products. She has worked with spectroscopic techniques (NIR fluorescence) using multivariate statistical techniques and methods (PARAFAC, PLS, PCR). She has acquired experience in detecting oil spills in the ocean. Her publication credits include published articles in 5 Journals, more than 10 Conference Papers and she has authored a chapter of a book, (Petroleum Science Research Progress, Chapter X).
